The Silent Knight PS-DATK is a conventional dual-action manual pull station with key reset. First, the user lifts a protective cover. Then, the user pulls the handle. As a result, the two-step action prevents accidental or nuisance alarms.
Silent Knight PS-DATK construction
- Die-cast metal body, painted with red enamel
- The word “FIRE” appears in two locations on the front
- Silent Knight logo on the face plate
- Key-operated reset using a lock plate actuator
- Reset key and lock match those used on the FACP enclosure
Wiring and signaling
The PS-DATK is a conventional pull station, not an addressable device. Therefore, it wires onto a conventional initiating device circuit using its two terminal connections. For addressable applications, pair it with a monitor module on the SLC instead.
Listings
The PS-DATK is UL-Listed, CSFM Approved, and MEA (BSA) Approved. Confirm the project AHJ accepts these listings before specifying.
Family reference
The PS-DA is the same station with a non-locking reset. The PS-SATK is the single-action variant with key reset. Therefore, verify the project drawings call for dual-action with key reset before ordering the PS-DATK specifically.
