The Silent Knight WSK-RELAY is a SWIFT wireless relay module that operates inside the SWIFT mesh network. It lets the fire alarm control panel switch an isolated set of Form C contacts by code command.
First, the module joins the SWIFT mesh through a WSK-WGI gateway. Then the panel can fire the relay to drive any compatible output. As a result, technicians can add a switched output without pulling new wire to the FACP.
What the Silent Knight WSK-RELAY Does
The relay contains one isolated set of Form C (SPDT) contacts. Therefore, it can switch either normally open or normally closed loads with a common pole.
Typical uses include elevator recall, door holder release, fan shutdown, and remote power supply activation. In addition, the module can act on commands from other SWIFT devices in the same mesh.
Specifications
- Maximum operating voltage: 3.3 VDC
- Maximum current draw: 5.0 mA (LED on)
- Average operating current: 210 µA
- Radio frequency range: 902 to 928 MHz
- Maximum transmit RF power: 17 dBm

How the SWIFT Mesh Protects the Link
Each SWIFT device has two parents in the mesh. As a result, every device has a backup path. If one device fails, the rest still communicate directly or through intermediate nodes.
