The System Sensor SBBW is a white surface-mount back box for SpectrAlert Advance wall notification appliances. Use it when wiring cannot be recessed into the wall. The device then mounts cleanly to the box with the wiring run on the surface.
Surface back boxes solve a common retrofit problem. Specifically, masonry, tile, and finished walls often make flush boxes impractical. The SBBW matches white SpectrAlert Advance devices for a finished appearance.
System Sensor SBBW Compatibility
Per the System Sensor AV accessories datasheet, the SBBW works with these white wall-mount SpectrAlert Advance models: HW, CHW, SW, SWH, P2W, P2WH, P4W, and CHSW. It also fits the plain (-P) and ALERT variants of those devices. For red devices, order the SBBR instead.
