The Macurco TX-6-ND is a fixed nitrogen dioxide (NO2) gas detector and controller. It monitors NO2 in vehicle and combustion areas. As a result, it helps keep enclosed spaces safe to occupy.
The unit powers from 12-24VAC or 12-32VDC. It reads NO2 on a digital display from 0 to 20 ppm. In addition, an internal buzzer signals a local alarm.
How the Macurco TX-6-ND Works
First, the detector senses NO2 with an electrochemical sensor. Then its 5A SPDT relay can control an exhaust fan. Also, a separate 0.5A alarm relay drives notification devices.
The fan and alarm actuation settings are selectable. Therefore, you can tune the unit to the space. Specifically, it suits parking garages and loading docks with diesel exhaust.
