The Mircom TX3-WRT-4H is a four-button wireless transmitter with built-in 125 kHz proximity. It is an access-control credential, not a fire alarm device.
Mircom TX3-WRT-4H specifications
The transmitter combines four-button RF activation with a passive proximity module. Specifically, the 125 kHz proximity provides up to 2 inches (51 mm) of presentation read range. In addition, the button-press range reaches up to 150 feet (46 m) per Mircom’s datasheet.
The proximity module is compatible with AWID and HID proximity readers. As a result, the same transmitter works as both a long-range four-function fob and a close-presentation card credential.
Physical and power
The transmitter measures 2.5″ × 1.45″ × 0.56″ (57.2 × 37 × 14.2 mm) and weighs 0.7 oz (20 g). Furthermore, it runs on a reliable lithium battery. Also, hard plastic buttons and an integrated red LED indicate each press and battery strength. The weatherized design suits outdoor key-fob carry.
How it pairs and orders
The TX3-WRT-4H operates with the TX3-WRR-44 four-channel Wiegand receiver. Therefore, it is the standard credential for four-button gate or door applications on the TX3 access-control system. Note that the TX3-WRT-4H must be ordered in blocks of 10.
