The Fire-Lite W-GATE is a wireless SWIFT gateway for addressable fire alarm systems. It connects a wireless mesh network to the fire alarm control panel. Furthermore, each wireless mesh requires exactly one W-GATE gateway. As a result, it bridges SWIFT wireless devices to a wired panel.

Fire-Lite W-GATE capacity

One gateway supports up to 48 SWIFT detectors or modules. In addition, it supports one display driver when required. The gateway connects to the panel’s SLC loop using the LiteSpeed protocol. Therefore, it integrates wireless devices alongside wired addressable devices.

Power and installation

First, connect the W-GATE to a compatible panel’s SLC loop. The SLC circuit can power the gateway directly. Alternatively, an optional 24 VDC input can power it. As a result, you can power down the gateway for service without shutting down the SLC loop.
