The Wheelock MPS-400X is an explosion-proof manual pull station for hazardous locations. It uses single-action operation with key reset. Therefore it triggers a fire alarm with one pull, then resets securely.
Wheelock MPS-400X construction
This station is built from die-cast metal for long service life. In addition, it mounts to a single-gang backbox. Its finish is high-gloss red enamel with raised white lettering. As a result, the station stays readable and durable indoors or outdoors.
Electrical and environmental ratings
The MPS-400X uses corrosion-resistant gold-plated SPST contacts. Specifically, the normally open contact closes on activation. Also, it is rated 30 VDC at 1 amp and 120 VAC at 1 amp. Furthermore, the operating range spans -40°F to 150°F.
Approvals
This model is UL Listed and Factory Mutual approved. Specifically, it covers Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C and D. In addition, it covers Class II, Groups E, F and G, plus Class III. It also carries a marine rating, NEMA-4X, CSFM, and MEA approvals.
